P.S. Did you hear the good news?

In partnership with California Native American tribes, the California Natural Resources Agency (CNRA) just announced its goal of expanding tribal stewardship over at least 7.5 million acres of land and coastal waters (source).

CNRA also published a Tribal Stewardship Policy and Toolkit. One goal of the Policy and Toolkit is to “provide policy and resources to institutionalize durable tribal-state partnerships and to advance durable tribal access, collaboration, and ancestral land return across California.”
