Bishop hosted the undefeated golden valley bulldogs on Thurs Sept. 2nd.
This was the first match for the broncos this year. The teamonly has 4 returning players.
The broncos were unable to win a set but still played some great

Jacee Carpenter played #1 singles scores 3-6 2-6
Ximena Cervantes-Mendez new to the team this year played in the #2 spot
she lost her first set 3-6 and had the lead for awhile in the second set
but then lost 4-6
Hailey Bragdon lost 3-6 3-6
Dominique Osland lost 0-6 1-6 but gained some helpful pointers from
her opponent
Olivia Ellis played her first tennis match in the # 5 spot and lost 2-6 1-6
Darby Swanson finished out the singles in the # 6 spot also losing 2-6 1-6
In doubles action, Jacee Carpenter and Ximena Cervantes-Mendez played
the #1ś losing 0-6 1-6
Hailey Bragdon and Dominique Osland lost 1-6 3-6 to the #2 doubles
Senior Leslie Mena paired up with newcomer Ava Aceo they lost 1-6 0-6

Next up for Bishop they will host Burroughs at 2 pm on Friday.
