Dear Friends of Bishop,

Fall has arrived in Bishop, and the Eastern Sierra is transforming into a living canvas of color. The first golden aspens are shimmering in the high country, while brilliant reds and oranges will eventually creep down the canyons and into the valley. With cooler days, crisp evenings, and endless blue skies, this is one of the most magical times to explore the region. Wander along Bishop Creek Canyon, hike a favorite trail, or take a scenic drive through our surrounding canyons to soak in the full spectrum of fall. Outdoor lovers can cast a line during prime fall fishing season, while the community comes alive with seasonal celebrations like Bishop’s classic car show and the FFA Pumpkin Patch. Photographers, leaf peepers, anglers, and families alike will all find countless opportunities to enjoy the season. Check out the event calendar for farmers markets, live music and other fun fall happenings!
