Memories Without Borders: Call for Collections
A new grant thanks to the California State Library
Funded by the California Civil Liberties Program, Memories Without Borders is a project with California Revealed, Manzanar National Historic Site, and Inyo County Free Library to digitize and preserve collections related to Japanese American incarceration, either held by individuals or organizations.
Do you have items related to Japanese American incarceration during WWII?
Do you want to share these items online so the public can learn from them, while keeping them within your family/organization?

Memory, Preservation, and Impact
California Revealed will help coordinate the digitization and preservation of the materials via Mobile Memory Lab public events and other digitization efforts. All items will be returned to the family or to the holding organization.
California Revealed will provide long-term preservation and access to the digital collections at californiarevealed.org. As a result of this project, K-16 educators will have access to new curriculum materials and professional learning opportunities that provide historical understanding and contemporary relevance of Japanese American exclusion, detention, and incarceration.
