Town Council Meeting Items for September 17, 2025
Town Council will be introduced to the new Building Inspector/Plans Examiner Jerry “Joseph” Risenhoover and recognize the promotion of Code Compliance Officer Ryan Tanaka to Police Services Technician.
Town Council will consider accepting the 2024 Community Indicators Report and a pause on the compilation of future Community Indicator Reports and take action authorizing the Town Manager to execute a contract with SyTech Solutions for records archiving services.

Endurance Season Continues with Mammoth Tuff
September is Endurance Season in Mammoth Lakes, and this weekend is Mammoth Tuff staging out of The Village this Saturday, September 13. Part of the UCI Gravel World Series, TUFF challenges riders over rough and scenic terrain in the Long Valley and Volcanic Tablelands. Beyond the ride, enjoy group pre-rides, a Friday beer mile, and a Village wrap party with live music and local eats. Please note that Canyon Blvd. between Lake Mary Road and Hillside Drive will be closed from 5:00am to 10:00pm on Saturday, September 13. More information here:

Looking for a fun new activity and a great way to meet new friends? Join one of our Fall Adult Hockey or Curling Leagues! We are offering A, B, Women’s and C divisions. Spots are filling up fast, so don’t be left on the bench!
Mark your calendars for the Fall BIKE RODEO! Join us on Tuesday, September 23, from 12:30-3:30pm at Shady Rest Park. This is a FREE event for kids to attend, but you MUST register. There will be bike races, a hot dog roast and awards.

Lakes Basin Clean-Up Event this Saturday, September 13
Join the Mammoth Lakes Trail System and the Inyo National Forest this Saturday, September 13 as we welcome partners and friends for a morning of trail work and stewardship on the Mammoth Lakes Trail System. Meet the crew at Horseshoe Lake Trailhead at 9:00am for a free breakfast, courtesy of Mammoth Mountain, followed by a safety talk and work assignments. Activities will include trail maintenance, landscape restoration, and general cleanup efforts. Event details:

Protecting McLeod Lake at 9,000 Feet!
From September 15-19, Clean Up the Lake is taking on one of their most unique cleanups yet: McLeod Lake. Whether you can give a few hours or a full day, your help will make a difference in protecting McLeod Lake.
