Mammoth Mountain Weekly Bike Report

Mammoth Mountain has not received rain since May, an anomalously dry summer by all accounts. But take a look at the forecast now! Afternoon rain showers are supposed to start as early as today, with daily dousing’s popping up every afternoon for the foreseeable future. We all know what some rain can do to our dirt; let’s get ready for some brown pow!

Trail crew spent time on Brake Through, Bullet, and Follow Me this week. Next week will be race #3 of our VCDH series which will take place on Follow Me, starting from the top of Chair 8 (about halfway down the trail…). Be sure to check out our Women’s Wednesday rides, these have been an absolute blast and the next clinic is August 27.
