Haunted Rink TODAY!
Join Parks and Recreation for some spooky family fun at The Haunted Rink from 4-7pm TODAY, October 24 at LA Kings Ice at Mammoth Lakes. This party on skates is FREE for members and just $5 for non-members and includes carnival-style games, costume contest, and skate rentals while they last. Cakewalk and concessions extra. Non-skating adults are FREE, so mark your calendars, plan your costume and join us for some spooky fun at LA Kings Ice at Mammoth Lakes on October 24.

Inyo National Forest to Begin Prescribed Fires
Inyo National Forest is planning prescribed fire operations this fall and winter, pending all required approvals. Prescribed fires are used to help reduce overgrown vegetation, protect local communities, infrastructure and natural resources from wildfires. Dependent on weather conditions, prescribed fires planned for the area may include: Mono Lake and Mammoth Ranger Districts – between Mammoth Lakes and June Lake Loop Aspendell, Crowley Lake (near Hilton Creek and Aspen Springs, Deadman Creek Road, Inyo Craters, June Lake Loop (near Northshore Drive), June Mountain Ski Area, Lake Mary Road (near Mammoth Lakes), Mammoth Lakes Basin, Mammoth Scenic Loop, Panorama Dome (near Mammoth Lakes), Reds Meadow Valley, and the South Fork Community. Stay informed about the scheduled prescribed fires through the Inyo National Forest website, social media channels, and InciWeb, the interagency incident information system.
