Town Of Mammoth Lakes
The Town Council meeting, tonight at 4 pm on June 21st, the Councilors will be approving the contract between Mammoth Lakes Tourism (MLT) and the Town for Measure A funds. Our ask is to maintain the current $2 million. Statement from MLCC: “MLCC Board of Directors is in support of maintaining the $2 million in Measure A dollars to MLT. In order to provide a well-rounded marketing effort, there are expenses and programs that cannot be funded by TBID dollars. If the Council was still honoring what the voters had passed concerning Measure A dollars, MLT should be receiving over $5 million in TOT funding. We are just asking that you maintain the current $2 million in Measure A dollars.”

Nominate Your Small Business
America’s Top Small Business – Last month, at the CO— Strategy Studio: Small Business Day event, the U.S. Chamber announced the launch of a new awards program for small businesses: America’s Top Small Business (ATSB), formerly known as the Dream Big Awards. ATSB aims to recognize small businesses doing big things in their industries and communities through innovation, job creation and a commitment to being an integral part of a thriving business ecosystem. We’ll be choosing Top Small Businesses across America (10 in each of seven regions). The highest scoring business in each region will be named one of America’s Top Small Businesses and one finalist will win America’s Top Small Business of the Year Award — a $25,000 cash prize! Find out everything you need to know about the ATSB program, including who is eligible to apply, how winners are chosen, important dates and deadlines, and more on our FAQ page. Then, please share this new document with top-line details about the opportunity with your small business members and encourage them to apply before the deadline on Friday, July 7, 2023.
