Sleeper Trail of the Year
New to the Mammoth Bike Report is our award for the Sleeper Trail of the Year. For the 2025 season, we’re honoring Ricochet, a classic DH trail with some freestyle flair that somehow keeps getting better over the years. Take advantage of Chair 2 running Fri-Sun and get your Ricochet laps in via Brake Through. Honorable mention goes to Boomerang, another trail that year over year just keeps getting better.
Please note that sections of Downtown and much of the eastside of the mountain will be closed on Saturday until 11:00 AM for the Pedalpalooza race. It’s not too late to sign up, and if you wake up with a wild hair, they’ll be accepting day-of registration from 7:00-7:30 AM at Canyon Lodge.
