“One of the Most Satisfying Wins in Recent Years” Bronco Football Take on Fernley.
“This was one of the most satisfying wins in recent years. Fernley won the Nevada state championship in 2019 including a 24-0 win here in Bishop. The Broncso had a great week of practice with great focus from all the athletes and the staff put together a great game plan. Quarterback Jakob Redmond continues to play better and better each week. The senior rushed for 68 yards and two touchdowns while throwing for 179 yards and two more scores. Zach Mojarro had a huge night going over 100 yards rushing and receiving. Mojarro now has 11 touchdowns in 2021. The defense made quick adjustments after allowing a pair of Fernley scores. Seniors Captains Kennedy Batchelder and Colt Matteson did a great job of leading the defensive effort. The Broncos are now 3-0. Next up is a home matchup with Ridgecrest Burroughs for the annual “High Sierra Classic” rivalry trophy game.”
