A Message from Amy Sturgill, Interim Director

Greetings!

As many of you know, I stepped into the role of Interim Executive Director earlier this year, and what a rewarding experience it has been! Working alongside our dedicated team, I’ve witnessed firsthand the incredible support ESLT receives from people like you.

And now, I’m both thrilled and honored to announce I’ll be passing the torch to our new Executive Director, Mark Drew!

With 25+ years of conservation experience, including at the World Wide Fund for Nature-Pacific, California Trout, and The Nature Conservancy, Mark’s leadership promises an exciting new chapter for ESLT.

I’ll be returning to my work in the Lands Program at ESLT and Mark’s first day will be January 8th. I have no doubt that Mark’s leadership will usher in an exciting new chapter for ESLT, and I am eager to see the organization flourish under his guidance.

Please also join me in welcoming Noah Williams as our new Tribal Partnership Program Manager. Noah brings valuable experience in environmental work in the Eastern Sierra and will play a key role in strengthening relationships with Tribal Nations.

Meet Mark and Noah at our Holiday Mixer this Thursday at the ESLT office in Bishop!

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have served ESLT in this capacity, and I look forward to continuing to support the organization’s important work alongside all of you.

With Gratitude,
