Bishop Broncos Varsity Boys Soccer Defeat Kern Valley 11-0
On Wednesday, November 11th the Varsity Boys Soccer team traveled to Lake Isabella to take on the Kern Valley Broncs for the first league game. Bishop came out very strong and scored 7 Goals in the first half. The second half scored 4 more goals for 11 to 0.
Cody Gonzalez had 2 goals and 1 assist.
Brandon Walters had 3 assists.
Dayki Ramirez scored 2 goals and 1 assist.
Charlie Trefry scored 1 goal.
Alexis Guerrero scored 1 goal.
Angel Medina scored 1 goal and 1 assist.
Aiden Esparza and Jared Ojeda also scored 1 goal each.
The player of the game goes to senior Iker Gonzalez for his 3 goals and 3 assists.
Coach Franklin Landaverde said the Boys’ Soccer win was due to their passing and working as a team.
Next week Tuesday, December 17 the Boys Broncos will have their season home opener against the Frazier Mountain Falcons and on Thursday, December 19 the Broncos will host the Mammoth Huskies.
Games start at 5:00 pm at the John Schwab Field. Boys’ games will be at 3:00. Come out and support your Bishop Union High School Soccer Teams.
