Meet Your Next California Governor?
It’s rare – too rare! – that gubernatorial candidates in California come to the Eastern Sierra. But candidate Betty Yee will be in our area this week. This is a great opportunity to meet a very promising candidate.
Betty will be in Bishop the evening of Friday, September 12, from 6-8PM for a fireside chat at the home of Jeff Griffiths (199 Edward Street in Bishop). She is very interested in learning about our hopes, challenges, and needs as folks living in our special part of California. (Note: Betty will also have an event in Mammoth on Saturday, September 13 at 46 Hill Street.)
