Bishop Union high school girls soccer played their 12th game of the season against the Rosamond Roadrunners in Bishop on January 23. Today Bishop lady Broncos have scored 86 goals and have allowed two goals.

Coach Bill Dailey reports that Bishop lady Broncos started off slow scoring the first goal around the 18th minute of the game. Ellie Crall lead the team with three goals one assist. Jillian Veenker had two goals and one assist, Brooklyn Braaten had one goal to assist, Alyssa Buchholz had one goal one assist, Jaden Davis had one goal and Madyn Weller had one assist.

The Rosamund Roadrunners came out strong in the first half. At the end of the first half the score was 3 to 0 in favor of the Broncos. In the second half the Broncos outscored the road runners 5 to 1, allowing only the second goal of the season to find the back of the Bishop Broncos’ net.

Coach Bill Dailey thinks the Roadrunners for the great sportsmanship and fun play.

On Thursday the lady Broncos will travel to face the Desert Scorpions in their second meeting of the season.

The Lady Broncos prepare for the CIF Central Sections play off. The dates for the playoff games are scheduled for February 13, 15, 20, 23 or 24. There’s not yet determined where the lady Broncos will play.
