Thanksgiving Weekend Train Rides at Laws!

Brill in snow

Come out to Laws Railroad Museum and Historical Site Friday November 25th and Saturday November 26th for train rides and fun for the whole family. The Death Valley Brill car #5 will be running for train rides from 11 am to 2:30 pm. Three years ago, at the Thanksgiving weekend we had snow on the ground during the rides. Keep your fingers crossed! The exhibits will be open along with our fully stocked gift shop.

The 1927 Brill Car, a self-propelled narrow-gauge railcar, is one of only five operable railcars of this model in the world. It was received in derelict condition in 1967 and restored by Laws Railroad Museum and Historical Site volunteers.

Rides last 15 to 20 minutes, and cost $5.00 per person for adults and children over 10 years in age. Children under 10 can ride for $1.00. Babes in arms and well-behaved pets ride free. Tickets can be purchased in the Depot with cash.

Come on out for a train ride and start your holiday shopping! We’ll see you at Laws.
