We are very excited to share a Summer Camp opportunity for Teens this summer.
It is a CERT- Certified Emergency Response Team training, and the participants will get a FEMA CERT certification, that they can proudly show off, add to their resumes, college applications, or just hang on the fridge.
The flyer has all the information and the QR code for an interest form.
Process:
- Fill out the interest form
- Once interest forms are completed Inyo and Mono teams will collaborate and begin the next process
- Parent and TEEN information sessions will be held via TEAMS (to accommodate the vast geographic region)
- Final sign ups and paperwork will be completed
- CERT summer camp will take place
- Lists of all the students that completed will be sent back to the schools, so they can have more information about the student success.
This is a learning program only. Teens get CERT training and certification, but there’s no official Teen CERT team in our area. We’re looking for partners to help teach or collaborate. If you’re interested, or know someone who is, please contact us!
