Mammoth Mountain Weekly Bike Report

Stump Alley Express (CH 2) and the Upper Panorama Gondola open tomorrow! After a ton of work, our trail crew and bike patrol has plowed their way up, over, and across the mountain and will be opening the trails Off the Top, Brake Through*, Boomerang, Flow, Ricochet, and Seven Bridges. We’ll operate Chair 2 daily through July 7 so take advantage of some midweek hot laps on some classic Mammoth trails. Make sure to keep an eye on our social media channels as there’s a chance we will be able to open up even more terrain.

*Access to Brake Through will be via the Burma Road as there’s still a bunch of snow on the Face of Chair 5.

Trail Overview | Flow

Finding your flow on this rowdy downhill trail can be one of the highlights of the day. It begins with a technical rock garden then continues the fun with root step downs, steep chutes, and the famous “Flow Drop”, a 10-foot wood-to-wood vertical drop which let’s be honest, is quite intimidating.
