Sierra Club, Range of Light Group, Elects Executive Committee Members

The members of the Sierra Club, Range of Light Group, re-elected Lynn Boulton and Malcolm Clark to its Executive Committee (ExCom) for another term. Boulton served 8 years as ExCom Chair and resigned as Chair to head the Conservation Committee. Kristine Green was elected to serve as Chair. Clark will continue in the role of Vice-Chair. Chris Bubser, Town of Mammoth Lakes Mayor, is also an active Range of Light Group ExCom member.

Green said, “It’s an honor and a privilege to be able to serve at this level. I’m looking forward to being involved in the administration of the Range of Light Group and in helping guide the use of our public lands and recreational resources in the Eastern Sierra.”  

The Range of Light Group focuses on public lands and resources of Mono and Inyo Counties, CA, and falls under the umbrella of the Toiyabe Chapter of the Sierra Club. The Sierra Club is a grassroots environmental organization that works to protect the planet, people, and places. It was founded in 1892 by a group of Californians, including John Muir. The Sierra Club is one of the oldest and largest environmental organizations in the United States. The Range of Light Group was founded in 1992, 100 years after the Sierra Club.
