Applications for the High Road Transition Council (HRTC) are now open!

The Eastern Sierra HRTC will be composed of the official HRTC decision-making body with a minimum of 21 members, and five (5) subcommittees that will provide information, context, and projects to the HRTC. For more information on the Governance Structure and to learn more about the roles and responsibilities for sitting HRTC members, please click here. If you wish to know more about the various subcommittees, their roles, and suggested memberships, register for a listening session on Wednesday January 25th at 12 p.m. with CERF coordinator Eric Robins.

If you would like to sit on the HRTC Council or a subcommittee, please fill out this application by February 7th to be eligible for the first round of appointees. In order to construct a diverse governing body, SBC will appoint applicants based on this application. The application will remain open until all positions are filled.

HRTC Application Form

The High Road Transition Council (HRTC) will help Sierra Business Council guide the CERF process in shaping our future industries, diversifying our economy, and providing for a better quality of life for all who call this region home. Our governance model was designed to include representation from the large geography of our Eastern Sierra region and all of the required and suggested stakeholders.

Feel free to share this application with groups or persons you know would make a good candidate for the council. Meetings for the HRTC and its subcommittees will begin in February, pending contractual agreements with the state, and we will share a more precise schedule as soon as possible.

We’re grateful for the time, expertise, and feedback we received from the community over the past several months. We look forward to working together on both the challenges and opportunities presented by this process.

Thank you,
SBC CERF Team
