Vegetation Fire North of Bishop at Highway 395 and Pleasant Valley Dam Road

From CAL FIRE:
[Update] #PleasantFire is 20% contained, forward rate of spread stopped at 44 acres. Crews will be on scene through the night strengthening containment lines. Smoke advisory in the area due to westerly winds. Cause is under investigation by #calfire Prevention Bureau.

[New Incident] Vegetation Fire – 10/23/22 12:55 p.m. Hwy 395 & Pleasant Valley Dam Rd. First arriving engine reported a .5 acre fire burning in the vegetation. Currently holding at 25 acres. 1 Air Attack, 2 Air Tankers, 1 Helicopter, 4 Chief Officers, 6 Engines, 1 Dozer and 3 Water Tenders assigned. Assisted by U.S. Forest Service – Inyo National Forest & Bishop Fire Department
