Mammoth Lakes Film Festival Named to MovieMaker Magazine’s List of the 25 Coolest Film Festivals 2022
Mammoth Lakes Film Festival has been named one of MovieMaker’s 25 Coolest Film Festivals of 2022. The annual list recognizes festivals that go out of their way to be innovative, welcoming, and simply cool. The full list of festivals is below.
“We are so honored to be part of this exclusive list. We work hard to provide a
unique experience for our filmmakers and keep to our vision and it is truly paying
off. Filmmakers from around the world are singing our praises and now MovieMaker Magazine thinks we are ‘Cool.’ What more could we ask for!” said Festival Director and Founder Shira Dubrovner.
“We’re grateful to the brilliant panel of moviemakers and film experts who chose
these 25 festivals,” says MovieMaker editor-in-chief Tim Molloy. “All 25 offer
unforgettable, unique, happy experiences. They’re cool in the sense of ‘Whoa, that’s
cool!,’ but also cool in terms of people being relaxed and nice to each other.”
Mammoth Lakes Film Festival is a DBA non-profit organization and was founded
by Mammoth local performing arts producer Shira Dubrovner in 2015. As we enter
our 9th season we are pleased to state that we have been on the MovieMaker
Magazine list of the 50 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee for the past seven (7)
years. We bring filmmakers from all around the world to beautiful Mammoth Lakes,
CA to share their innovative talent with our mountain community every Memorial
Day weekend.
