Face Mask Update
The  California  Department  of  Public  Health  (CDPH) updated  its  statewide  COVID-19 masking  guidance  to  align  with  recent  data trends  which  show  dramatic  decreases  in  the  level  of  COVID-19  virus  and  virus  transmission throughout  the  state.

California Dream FundThe California Dream Fund is a one-time $35 million grant program to seed entrepreneurship and small business creation in the State of California. New entrepreneurs and small business owners will complete an intensive training program. Following successful completion of the training and consulting program, new businesses will be eligible to apply for a microgrant of up to $10,000.
Extended Employee Retention CreditThe IRS urges employers to take advantage of the newly-extended employee retention credit, designed to make it easier for businesses that choose to keep their employees on the payroll throughout the pandemic.
Eligible employers can now claim a refundable tax credit against the employer share of Social Security tax equal to 70% of the qualified wages they pay to employees after December 31, 2020, through June 30, 2021.

California Rebuilding Fund Loan ProgramThe California Rebuilding Fund is a loan program to support California’s small businesses—especially those located in economically disadvantaged and historically under-banked areas of the state. Businesses who employed 50 or less full-time equivalent employees and had gross revenues of less than $5 million or below in 2019 are eligible to apply. The loans are flexible, transparent and are designed to help businesses access the capital and advisory services they need to get through these challenging economic times.
