Construction Update: Dave and Roma McCoy Arts and Cultural Center

Construction is underway for the first facility designed for performing arts in Mammoth Lakes. Formwork for the structural pilasters has been raised to half the height of the building and the concrete slab for the tiered seating area has been laid. Several of the concrete pilasters were expected to be poured this week, and new roof trusses will go onto a portion of the existing building before winter fully sets in. The center will provide a permanent home for live theater, musical performances, films, lectures, conferences and an array of community activities.
