Skid Marks is NOW OPEN
Skid Marks, or Skiddies, as many of us call it, is one of our premier expert-rated trails cascading off the south summit of Mammoth Mountain. Yes, there are incredible views of the Lakes Basin and the massive peaks to our south (Bloody, Red Slate, Morrison, etc.), but it’s probably best to keep your eyes glued to the trail on this one. Steep, fast, and just enough tech to keep you on your toes, we’re stoked to announce the trail’s opening today.
Also opening are Chain Smoke in its entirety, Bridge the Gap, Roma’s Road, Toll Road, and the intermediate gem Midtown (catch it from McCoy Station). Please take note that Richter will be closed intermittently for construction.
You won’t want to miss some of the events we have coming up like the Downhill Village Championships (VCDH) which starts next Friday, July 18. Hope to see you out there!
