World Migratory Bird Day
Saturday, May 11th: 8:00-10:00am

Come bird with us at ESLT’s Black Lake Preserve in celebration of World Migratory Bird Day! Black Lake is a rare desert wetland north of Benton in Adobe Valley that is an important stopover site for migratory birds. The alkali lakes and wetlands in Adobe Valley provide a great environment for our feathered friends to rest and refuel during migration.

Want to spot incredible migrating birds this spring? Join ESLT and the Eastern Sierra Audubon Society (ESAS) for a morning of birdwatching at a rare sparkling wetland in Adobe Valley – ESLT’s Black Lake Preserve. In honor of World Migratory Bird Day, we will learn all about the migrating species that visit this lake and those that call it home. All birding levels are welcome, and kids are encouraged to attend. Binoculars and bird guides provided if needed. More information is coming soon! RSVP today!
