Big Pine Paiute Reservation, Big Pine, CA [01/19/2024] The Big Pine Paiute Tribe is seeking the prosecution of the individuals who broke into the Big Pine Paiute Tribe’s government offices on January 7th and violently attacked an employee who attempted to prevent the destruction and theft of property, including confidential records. The Tribal Council condemns the violent attack on tribal staff and the destruction and removal of property.
Most of the individuals involved in the break-in were captured by surveillance cameras and have been identified by the Tribe and local law enforcement officials. The Tribe is pursuing criminal charges against those involved. I am a victim of Paul Huette. I have not reported him but feel like I might be able to after the others have come forward. They are very strong and I am not. I wasn’t in a good place when this happened and I have been working on myself. It makes me sad that there are so many victims and Paul just acts like nothing has happened and gets to be on the school board and fire department. I hope I have the courage to speak out at a school board meeting and fire department because this community needs to know that young girls are not safe if he is around. I’m a good person and I just want justice for myself and all the others. Prayers to everyone having to deal with Paul and his wife and family.

Went to the general council meeting on Sunday and saw Rhonda Duckey, France, Brooks, Paz wearing a camera on a necklace! She prob doesn’t have a clue how to use it, just kept adjusting it. I also attended one of the pretend council meetings at the town hall. Rhonda sounded like she was in her glory trying to be in charge. I can see why she’s so upset that being on the pretend council is the only place she can be in charge! I’m wondering why Alan Bacock who kinda sounded scary at nominations night with his outbursts wasn’t at the general council meeting? Maybe he got voted in as the chairman to the pretend council tonight? All of those people have one thing in common – church! Don’t they know that all their fellow church people murdered all the natives at boarding schools? Raped native women, molested children and told lies to the families of these women and children? Oh wait, I’m sure they do because they all are continuing that behavior! Talk about disgusting! Anyone associated with these church people are going to take the fall and believe me they don’t give a damn about you!
I saw the security footage at the GC mtg last Sunday and this shadow council is guilty af! Why were they covering the security cameras if they’re so innocent? Why did they have non-tribal members breaking into our building?! Retha and her gang think it’s their building, they think they are general council, after the GC mtg I hope they now know that they ARE NOT the majority. They ARE NOT general council. The real general council has spoken and we’ve had enough!
I attended the general council meeting on Sunday. That group that so badly wants to be tribal council is ridiculous! Eva always trying to fight and ol girl just ain’t got it. Heather can’t keep her mouth shut to save her own life and that damn scream!! Her mom was probably shamed out for sure! Rhonda and her big fake teeth always talking to herself (she acts like a little tattle tale kid)and then there’s that big boy Doree! She is a total joke like her mom. Her dad don’t help much with the gene pool so she’s a hot mess! Those 4 don’t have a clue about how to run a tribe. Who would want all the violence they bring? Who wants unintelligible people running the tribe? Not me! The real general council made me proud to be a big pine Paiute tribal member. That other group being fed all the lies (and then believing them) all deserve each other. Our tribal council stood their ground and I’m pretty sure they won’t put up with their nonsense. Thank you to all the general council members that showed up and are ready to move forward with OUR tribal council. Those others can kick doorknobs!!
I want to see accountability for Paul Huette and justice for his victims! At BP’s nominations night that ugly mob kept telling our Council “it’s not going away” when talking about those crooked petitions. Well guess what, Paul’s accountability for sexual harassment, sexual assault and solicitation will not go away either! We will keep fighting until Paul Huette is no longer a danger to our young women and girls!!!! I’ve seen the evidence, I stand with the victims of Paul Huette!!! And any women or gross men who protect him will be exposed too!!!
The tribal community deserves to feel safe from Paul Huett and his vindictive wife and her non law abiding family. Retha has been posting on social media about Mrs Bryan cashing checks at the casino. It’s shocking to know how much shit this woman spews out of her mouth and knowing she sat on tribal council as the TREASURER for 2 years she knows it’s impossible for that to happen. So you know she’s lying like she does about everything. She’s so miserable in her own life that she has nothing better to do than fabricate lies. She needs to join her husband in jail for active role in supporting him and trying to cover his actions. They should be removed from the tribe along with the rest of her family

When I hear anything about the “shadow council” I always remember this saying
“The loudest people in the room usually have the most to prove and no way to prove it” It’s the only way they can get the attention they so desperately seek.
They are constantly fabricating lies and most of the things they are accusing others of they are doing themselves. Retha, Heather and Eva had their kids helping them break in at the tribal office. They don’t care who takes the fall for their crimes. A parent should never involve their child like that. Even though their kids are adults they’re not smart enough to think on their own. Always bullied and pressured by their parents. What is their weird obsession with Jesse Archer? They are constantly talking about him shouting out his name and posting about him. I think they’re secretly lusting after him. You know how they say when they act mean towards you it’s because they really like you! I’m beginning to believe it. That poor young man has some scary crazy in love women after him! Stay safe Mr Archer love makes people do crazy things!
That’s what I’ve always thought! These women (and some of the men) are IN LOVE with Jesse Archer. I mean, he’s a good looking guy and all but damn, they are obsessed! Let him be already.
Big Pine tribe listened to my story and been supportive and kind to me. The previous council and cheryl Levine would not even listen and I knew they supported Paul. It’s very difficult to see him in the community and his wife and her sister will harass me and honk and yell when they see me. It’s hard to talk about this to anyone and I see posts with retha saying it’s old it’s 2 years ago but it’s not. I hope the rest of the tribe will support this council because they really listen and want to help they care. I know I’m only 1 victim and there’s many but please help bring justice to us all

I’m so very sorry this happened to you and nobody cared. It’s disturbing that this wasn’t dealt with when it happened! It’s disgusting how Paul got away all of the nasty things he’s done and how his wife and her family harasss his victims!!! Shame on Cheryl and the past council to sweep the situation under the rug. Paul Aretha violet and all of ugly kids need need to go! They are a danger to the community! And they just prance around like they can do what ever they want! Wake up people!!!! What if this was one of your kids or grandkids or nieces? You would just let it go??? Be thankful that Jackie and the new council are dealing with this finally! If it wasn’t for them these girls would be tormented for the rest of their lives. As a community is that what we would want or would we want to stand up to the preditor and the nasty people that have his back? Something needs to be done to these people. Questions for the “shadow council” so if you don’t recognize the tribal council why were you at nominations? You are asking for your petition to be heard but you’ve already had a meeting about that. Why did your chair and vice chair quit? You’re all a bunch of dim bulbs with no idea how to run a government. Pretty sure it’s all a control issue. All the formers that have kept the tribe in a hole for more than a decade. You’re all a bunch of title seekers with no vision. And what about your treasurer? Is it true that Genevieve “Gina” Jones who is a candidate for Inyo County 4th District Supervisor is the leader of this group that attempted a takeover on her own tribe? She’s also a supporter of a known sexual predator in the community with pending charges against him. I feel bad for our local tribe dealing with these nasty people and I definitely wouldn’t want someone like that for district supervisor!

You act like that building belongs to you! It belongs to THE TRIBE! You had no business up in that building that night! You have no keys that should tell you that you don’t belong in there! Jackie is the tribal administrator, has keys to the building has the code to the alarm and has every right to be there! And Garrett was there to support, protect and have his wife’s back! Jesus needs to heal you from your delusional state of mind. Go pray. Pray that you will even be allowed on thr rez at all after Sunday. Gen council is not just comprised of just your family. You created hate and division the minute you were off council so you could protect your predator husband. You lied to your own kids to make them think they were going to get fired. You led them to commit a crime, and you all got maced. You continue to bully ‘the bear mace couple’ online and have traumatized their children. What do you think Jesus thinks of all that? The people that were involved in the break in need to be prosecuted to the FULL EXTENT of the law since this IS NOT the first time they have broke in and tried to take over. They need need to understand that this kind of behavior is totally unacceptable and we as a tribe are not going to tolerate their disrespect any longer.
Praying for justice. Praying for Inyo County elected officials (Supervisor Roeser, DA Hardy and Sheriff Rennie) to find the strength to rise above the deeply imbedded corruption of their law enforcement officers and hold them accountable. I also hope the big pine Paiute community can come together and reject criminal behavior once and for all. The unholy union of violent criminals and corrupt law enforcement is a historical constant in the history of America, as is their history of joining forces to destabilize and cripple native tribes and governments. Trust in Inyo County government is at an all time low and for darn good reasons. Let’s pray for Big Pine tribal members and those who truly wish to “serve and protect” to find each other for the greater good of our whole community.
I sure hope the tribe can hold these individuals accountable. I’ve heard a lot of talk about dis-enrolling those involved by community members. I also saw on one of the meeting agendas something about mail theft. Does anyone know what was stolen and by who? I’m thinking the scandalous post office workers!! That whole crime family should be banned from everything they just hire people to help with their dirty work and don’t care who takes the fall. Those people will find out the hard way when the crime family shows no support for them. Let’s stand with our council and get the justice we all deserve! Maybe that group can start their own tribe on the upper Rez in their own filthy junk yards!!
