Eastern Sierra Land Trust Highway 395 Clean-up Event
Eastern Sierra Land Trust will be hosting a Highway 395 cleanup event on Saturday, February 25th from 10am – Noon. We need your help to keep ESLT’s section of Hwy 395 beautiful and trash free.
The Caltrans Adopt-A-Highway Program provides an avenue for individuals, organizations, or businesses to help maintain sections of roadside within California’s State Highway System. The Adopt-A-Highway program, which began in 1989, has been one of the truly successful government-public partnerships of our time. More than 120,000 Californians have cleaned and enhanced over 15,000 shoulder-miles of roadside.
ESLT is proud to have adopted a section of the highway 14 miles northwest of Bishop. Please RSVP by contacting Harrison at [email protected].
Coffee and pastries will be provided. Please bring long pants, sturdy footwear, and adequate clothing. There will be no restrooms immediately available along the highway, so please plan accordingly. You can find more information about this event at eslt.org/events.
Thank you to our supporters of Caltrans and Great Basin Bakery.
