Eastern Sierra Avalanche Center Annual Kickoff and Fundraiser Nov 22
Hello ~
The first round of snow has blanketed the mountains and the ESAC team is stoked for the season to start. We are looking forward to Saturday, November 22, with our snow and avalanche workshop that morning and our annual Kickoff and Fundraiser with Kimmy Fasani in the evening. You can also join us for a matchstick Movie on November 8. And if you’re considering making a donation at the start of the season, read more below about a special gift for $250+ donors!
Annual Kickoff and Fundraiser
Saturday November 22 – Canyon Lodge
Featuring Kimmy Fasani
Doors at 5pm, Show at 7pm
Raffle * Silent Auction * Merch * Appetizers * Drinks * Vendor Tables
The silent auction is growing daily and will be live the week before the event for bidding from anywhere. From trips to AIARE courses, art to ski gear, there will be a great variety! We will send an email when the auction is live.
Eastern Sierra Snow and Avalanche Workshops
Saturday November 22 – Eagle Lodge
9am – 2pm
Coffee and snacks
Social hour to follow
Come out to refresh your knowledge on all things snow and avalanche related! These workshops provide a space for avalanche instructors, ski patrollers, guides, backcountry recreationalists, and others to share knowledge, learn about current topics, and get ready for the season. More details with presenters coming soon!

Considering making a donation to ESAC again this season? We want to let you know we will have a special gift for those donors of $250 or more that donate by November 21. We have 32L Patagonia Black Hole backpacks with the ESAC logo. We plan to have this gift for you at the kickoff – if you can’t make it in person, we will work out getting it to you afterward!
We have a limited number of backpacks – we will give these out in the order donations are received.
