Bishop Broncos Girls Soccer Take First at Tournament

Lady Broncos Soccer kicked off their winter break by attending the Taft High School soccer tournament. With the end result placing them in 1st place for the tournament.
On Friday the 19th the Broncos kicked off at 4:50 and faced North Bakersfield winning the game 11-0. Not only after winning the game, the Broncos only had a 15 minute break before kicking off again and facing Delano at 6:10. Broncos put up a big fight with it being a physical game but they stayed classy and ended the game with a win of 2-0. On Saturday, the 20th Broncos kicked off at 10:50 against McFarland. Broncos put up a good fight with them being down 1-0 at the end of the first half but continued to fight hard and Kylie Acree ended up getting the ball in the back of the net which advanced them on to the championship game. In the championship game the Broncos kicked off at 1:30 against West Bakersfield . The Broncos fought hard and ended the game in a shutout with the score being 4-0. This is the first high school tournament the Lady Broncos walked away with the 1st Place plaque!
