Bishop Broncos Varsity Girls Soccer First in HDL with 8-0 Win Over Mammoth
Bishop Union high school lady Broncos took on the Mammoth Huskies on June 18 at the John Schwab Field. The lady Broncos ended the first half with the lead of 3 to 0. Second half Lady Broncos came out swinging and scored an additional five goals making the final score 8 to 0. The Bishop Lady Broncos are first in the High Desert league with a record of 10 wins and zero losses.
Brooklyn Braaten lead the team with a total of three goals. Jaden Davis and Ellie Crall each had two goals. And Willow Blanks scored her first goal of her high school career. Alyssa Buchholz had two assist while Julian Veenker and Ellie Crall each had one assist during the game.
Coach Bill Dailey reports all 18 varsity players have scored this season. With 10 games played, the Bishop lady Broncos have scored a total of 86 goals and only allowed one this season. The one goal allowed came in a win against the Mammoth Huskies earlier in the season.
