Honoring the Life of Chad Parent
Honoring the Life of Chad Parent
Organized by Samuel Tanksley and Kennth Tanksley
It is with great sorrow that we, together with his family, including his father, Rick Parent, his mother, his brother Shane, and his sister Grace, share the heartbreaking news that the individual recently found in the canal was Bishop’s own and beloved Chad Parent.
Many in our community knew Chad and were familiar with the challenges he faced throughout his life, including his struggle with frequent seizures. Over the years, he received kindness, patience, and compassionate care from social services, law enforcement, medical professionals, and, most of all, the people of Bishop.
To everyone who extended a helping hand, offered a kind word, showed patience, or looked out for Chad along the way, we offer our heartfelt gratitude. Your compassion made a difference in his life.
As Rick prepares to say goodbye to his son, his wish is simply to lay Chad to rest with the love, dignity, and respect he deserves.
We are raising funds specifically to cover Chad’s mortuary and cemetery expenses. All contributions will be used toward these final arrangements. Any contribution, regardless of the amount, will be deeply appreciated. If you are unable to give, sharing this fundraiser is another meaningful way to help.
