Town of Mammoth Lakes Announces New Front Counter Hours

Beginning on Monday, September 21, the front counter hours for the Town’s Administrative Office located in Suite 230, 437 Old Mammoth Road, will be changing. The new counter hours are from 7:30am to 5:30pm (with no closure for lunch) Monday to Thursday. The Town’s goal is to better serve the public by opening earlier, staying open later, and remaining open through the lunch hour. The Town believes these expanded hours will be especially beneficial to community members who have trouble coming in during regular business hours due to work, childcare, etc. Our teams that regularly serve the front counter including the Community & Economic Development, Revenue, and Engineering will be working together to ensure coverage and cross-training to provide valued services during expanded counter hours. The Town Administrative offices will be closed to the public on Fridays, but you may request an appointment ahead of time with any employee or department. Please note that these new administrative office hours do not affect operating hours at the Community Recreation Center (CRC) or the Mammoth Lakes Police Department. Please be patient as we make this transition. Our goal is always to serve the community better, and more efficiently.
