Big, Final Push: Just $22,000 to Go, Help ESLT Finish Spring Appeal Strong!

Thanks to generous friends like you, our Spring Appeal is almost there.
We’ve made significant progress towards achieving our Spring Appeal funding target and are reaching out seeking your support — our outstanding target is $22,000 that will enable us to further our important work supporting working lands and ranches, local communities and conservation of the places we call home in the Eastern Sierra.
Please consider making a contribution helping us realize our goal by May 31st, 2025!

Why this matters right now:
- Uncertain times. Public sector funding, particularly federal government grants, are central to the work of ESLT and other land trusts. Such funds provide the necessary resources for acquisition, establishing conservation easement along with stewardship needs. We find ourselves in uncertain times with traditional funding sources, which limits our ability to respond to pertinent opportunities supporting ranchers, farmers and the conservation of local natural resources. At the same time, the costs of caring for our 23,000+ protected acres and the 1,800 new acres we’re working to save are only increasing. ESLT remains steadfast in our commitment to serving local landowners and the broader communities in the Eastern Sierra — and we need your support.
- Every acre counts. Protecting a single acre costs roughly $2,860 (not including lifelong stewardship). Your gift keeps working lands productive, wildlife thriving, and our communities connected to the open spaces we love.
- Ready for what’s next? A solid base lets us respond quickly to new conservation opportunities and safeguard existing projects, no matter how the policy winds blow.
Give Today
Please consider making a tax-deductible spring gift today. Whether $50, $250, or more, your support is central to our success as a committed partner-organization in the Eastern Sierra. It helps provide stability, and an opportunity to be responsive to unique opportunities to advance conservation of working lands in the region.
Thank you for supporting ESLT. Together, we’ll protect these irreplaceable Eastern Sierra landscapes for generations.
