395 Closed…Then Open…May Close Again

U.S. 395 Reopened Near Mammoth Lakes
Cal Trans LogoMONO COUNTY — Following an early morning closure, Caltrans has reopened U.S. 395 between the junction of State Route 203 and the southern junction of State Route 158 (South June Lake Loop). This portion of the highway reopened at 6:00 am with R-2 Chain Control Restrictions. While the highway is now fully open, Caltrans may be forced to close it again should weather conditions worsen.
Road closures and chain control restrictions are subject to change throughout the day as the storm continues to pass through our area. For the latest information on what’s happening on the State Highway System, please visit the Caltrans QuickMap website at quickmap.dot.ca.gov or download the QuickMap app to your iOS or Android device. You can also call the Road Condition Hotline at 1-800-427-ROAD (7623).
