Yosemite National Park 2025 Summer Reservation System
The National Park Service recently announced Yosemite’s 2025 summer reservation system.
Yosemite National Park will require reservations for vehicle entry between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the following dates:
- May 24–26 (Memorial Day weekend)
- June 15–August 15 (daily)
- August 30–September 1 (Labor Day weekend)
No reservations are needed outside these dates or times.
Reservations are open now on Recreation.gov. Additional slots will be released seven days before each entry date, and again on the day of entry, at 8am.
Each reservation covers three consecutive days and requires a $2 non-refundable fee, separate from the $35 park entrance fee.
Visitors with in-park lodging, campground bookings, wilderness permits, or those entering via public transit (YARTS) or authorized tours are exempt from this requirement. For more details, visit the official Yosemite NPS reservation page.
Mono County Economic Development and Tourism is creating a small rack card to help visitor centers, businesses, and guests navigate the new process. Staff will be distributing those in the coming weeks. If you need rack cards or any other collateral, like the Mono County visitor guide, fishing map, fall color map, community maps – please email us at [email protected].
