Wye Road Pavement to be resurfaced
What you need to know: Paving on Wye Road, the connector between U.S. 6 and U.S. 395 in Bishop, will start on Monday, July 27th. The eastbound direction of the connecting road will be closed during construction.

BISHOP — Asphalt grinding and paving operations on the Wye Road Connector Mill and Pave project, located on the U.S. 395 connector to U.S. 6 in Bishop, will begin on Wye Road.
Cortez Paving will perform a dig-out of the cracks in the pavement on the Wye Road connector and smooth out the roadway by applying a fresh layer of pavement over the course of five working days. Work on this $155,000 project is scheduled for Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31 from 7:00 am to 6:00
TRAFFIC IMPACT: The westbound side of Wye Road will remain open during construction as well as the eastern entrance of the gas station from U.S. 6. Drivers may experience brief delays.
