Connect local students with winter landscapes at SnowSchool

Bishop: March 11, 12, and 13 at Cardinal Village
Mammoth: March 2 and March 6 at the Mammoth Lakes Visitor Center
What is SnowSchool? SnowSchool is an outdoor education experience that gets kids outside, having fun, and being curious about their winter environment.
The volunteer role: Co-leading activity stations and helping with site setup and breakdown. Volunteers do not need any previous outdoor education experience! All curriculum is provided in advance (and the lessons aren’t complicated!). Anyone who enjoys being outside and working with kids would enjoy these field trips.
Timing: Volunteers are needed from 8:45 to 1:30 each day. You’re welcome to sign up for any number of days that work for your schedule.

More details to come: Join us in March for a restoration project in Rovana with lunch afterwards provided by the Backcountry Cook, Kelly Kate Warren!
We are so excited to announce that we’re partnering with professional backcountry cook, Kelly Kate Warren, at our March stewardship project with the BLM! The project will focus on restoration work and take place on Sunday, March 22nd just outside Rovana (Pine Creek Village).
The details are still in the works, so stay tuned for updates.
