Homicide Investigation: Updated Information
Investigators from the Inyo County Sheriff’s Office are actively investigating a shooting that occurred on Shepard Lane in Bishop, California. On Monday, February 12, 2024, Inyo County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to Shepard Lane and located a male victim who was bleeding from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The victim has been identified as 57-year-old Bishop resident David William Miller. Miller’s death is being investigated as a homicide. Due to the sensitive nature of this active investigation, no further information will be released at this time.
