The Caboose is Loose! Laws Museum Caboose 401 to Travel to Carson City
Caboose 401, the 1881 Carter Bros. caboose on display at Laws Railroad Museum and Historic Site, will be traveling to Carson City, Nevada.
The Nevada State Railroad Museum will be holding the “Great American Steam-up”
July 1-4 and Laws Museum has been asked to participate by loaning our caboose to
be pulled behind various narrow-gauge locomotives during the celebration. For details about the event go to NSRM’s website The Great Western Steam Up. #401 will be leaving Laws early in the morning of June 25 and returning July 8.
