Suspect Sought in Independence Burglary

Inyo County Sheriff’s investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying an individual suspected of burglarizing the Valero gas station in Independence.

Deputies responded to the report of a burglary earlier today, June 6, at 6:10 a.m. Investigation revealed that a subject forced entry into the business at 3:47 a.m. and stole $300 cash from two registers inside the building. The following images of the suspect and vehicle associated with the burglary were caught on video.
