Support Mule Days into the future!
We are so excited to share that due to the generous donation of one of our Mule Days family from now through December 31st, you can double the impact of your donations up to $10,000! Please read:
“My husband, Harvey Bertrand, and I are honored to help kickstart a tax-exempt fundraising drive to preserve the joy of the Mule Days Celebration for future generations. For three generations my family has cherished the friendships and challenges of participating in this beloved event.
My father, Bob Tanner, hoofed it on foot to solicit $10 donations from local Owens Valley businesses to fund the first Mule Day in 1970. My mother, Jean, hosted an early committee meeting in 1969. My late brother, Bobby, proudly showed the Death Valley 20-Mule Team. Today, Bobby’s wife, Claudia, manages the Mule Days gift shop, and their son, Bo, continues the family legacy by honing his mule-packing skills.
With your support, we can ensure this treasured tradition thrives and grows.
Sincerely,
Suzanne Tanner-Bertrand, M.D.”
