Some Mammoth Lakes Road Closures in Prep for Winter Storm
Due to the the winter storm that is in the forecast, The Lakes Basin Road has closed this morning along with the Reds Meadow Road and the Old Mammoth Road to the Lakes Basin that closed yesterday, reports Deb Schweizer, public affairs specialist with the Forest Service.
The Lakes Basin Road remains open. However, travelers should use caution, keep an eye on the forecast, and be prepared for winter conditions.
Conditions will be reassessed when the storm clears. Be safe!
