Please Recreate Responsibly Over Memorial Day Weekend

It’s that time of the year again. The runoff season has begun, and we urge the public to take caution in our waterways! Swift-flowing water and high-water levels with strong currents can pose potential safety hazards. Use caution at all times.
Enjoy the Eastern Sierra, safely and responsibly this weekend. Stay mindful!
Klondike Lake Opens for Boating on Friday, May 23

From May 23 to September 1, Klondike Lake will be open for limited public boating use on weekend days only: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9 a.m. to sunset.
Precautionary measures are in place to prevent the spread of invasive mussels at this site, all motorized watercraft must be inspected before launching. Boat access to Klondike is free this summer.
Reminder! Crowley Lake Boat Inspections

All boats entering Crowley Lake will be inspected to keep waterways safe from the spread of invasive mussels. Boats showing signs of contamination, or found to contain any water or debris that could harbor mussels will not be allowed to launch. Boats that have tags from last season do not need to be re-inspected as long as the original tag has not been broken or tampered with.
Visit the Crowley Lake Fish Camp website or Facebook page for the latest information on boat launches and available services.
