News From The Trailhead – Mammoth Lakes Recreation May Newsletter
MESSAGE FROM MLR
Welcoming May with a week of snow flurries has been a bit incomprehensible, but honestly, after this winter, what isn’t incomprehensible! This year, my spring hikes into the wilderness are going to be spring skiing in the wilderness; and that is wonderful! Embracing this breathtaking place and all the magic it brings with it, is why we love the Eastern Sierra. So, get out and enjoy, be patient as Mother Nature settles down and our hard-working crews put the pieces back together.
We’re looking forward to a busy summer full of stewardship, interpretive hikes, musical and theatrical productions, summer camps, arts programs, and more! Be sure to visit our Partners Page to learn about these great offerings.
