Dear Friends of Bishop Mule Days Celebration,
We send this letter with hopes that your year has been full of joy, success and adventure! With the end of the year closing in, and the holiday season upon us, we wanted to take a moment to update you with some news from the Mule Days office.
First, we want you to know that without you, our fans, guests, contestants, sponsors, vendors and volunteers, we couldn’t possibly have continued this amazing event at the base of the mighty Sierra Mountain range for 53 years. It has truly been a multi-generational event that has stood the test of time. For your support over the years, we thank you more than you can imagine!
Next, we have completed the task of becoming a 501(c)3 Non-Profit charitable organization. It is our hope that with non-profit status we can attract benefactors and donors who might otherwise look for other worthy charities to contribute gifts. We ask you to consider Mule Days for a charitable contribution.
We do not make this request lightly as we know in these daunting financial times hard-earned dollars are hard to come by. However, Bishop Mule Days is at a crossroads. To continue a ‘world class equestrian event’ requires professional management as well as significant cost. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic as well as the ongoing increases for everything from facility rent to insurance we are asking for your consideration in this season of giving.
Box Hitch $25 donation- Name recognition on Muledays.org website and “Proud Supporter” bumper sticker.
Diamond Hitch $50 donation- Name recognition on Muledays.org website, “Proud Supporter” bumper sticker and local newspaper name recognition.
Double Diamond Hitch $75 donation- Name recognition on Muledays.org website, “Proud Supporter” bumper sticker, local newspaper name recognition and License plate frame.
Triple Diamond Hitch $100 donation- Name recognition on Muledays.org website, “Proud Supporter” bumper sticker, local newspaper name recognition, license plate frame and name recognition on banner at event.
All donations regardless of amount will receive a tax donation letter. We also have a donate button on our website for your convenience. Please contact the office at 760-872-4263 for other opportunities to help.
