Mammoth Lakes, CA — May 28, 2025 — Mammoth Lakes Tourism is excited to announce enhanced summer air travel options for visitors, featuring the return of Advanced Air direct flights into Mammoth Yosemite Airport (MMH) and the extension of United Airlines seasonal service into Eastern Sierra Regional Airport (BIH) in Bishop.
Advanced Air: Direct Flights from Southern California to Mammoth Lakes + Altitude Annual Pass10-Pack Memberships Now Available
From June 27 through September 1, 2025, Advanced Air will offer direct flights to and from Hawthorne-LA (HHR) and Carlsbad (CLD) and Mammoth Yosemite Airport (MMH) on Fridays and Sundays. An additional flight will run on Thursday, July 3, and the flight scheduled for Sunday, August 31 will instead operate on Monday, September 1, in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
Advanced Air continues to provide Southern Californians with the only direct air service into Mammoth Lakes, combining private-terminal convenience with commercial pricing. Passengers skip TSA lines and enjoy a seamless, crowd-free travel experience.

United Airlines: Extended Summer Service from San Francisco to Bishop
United Airlines will extend its seasonal service between San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Eastern Sierra Regional Airport (BIH) in Bishop, operating daily flights from June 26 through September 1, 2025. From September 4th through October 6th, additional flights will be available on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. This extension provides travelers from the Bay Area and beyond with convenient access to the Eastern Sierra region, including Mammoth Lakes, just a 45-minute drive from BIH.
The flights will be operated using United’s Embraer 175 aircraft, offering a comfortable travel experience with no middle seats, larger windows, and first-class seating options.
