Mammoth School Children Might Be Back in School Earlier Than We Anticipated. Zoom Link Available
Mammoth Unified School District Superintendent, Jennifer Wildman, sent out an update today (Sept. 21) about the state of the school closure and a glimmer of hope brought on by the Mono County Public Health Department.

“Thanks to Mono County Public Health Department. A COVID 19 outbreak response team will be coming to Mammoth Middle School, and Mammoth High School, to administer COVID tests, and vaccines to our students and staff, starting tomorrow, Sept. 22nd
This test and return protocol will allow students who test negative to return to school in person as early as Monday, September, 27
TEST AND RETURN TO SCHOOL EARLY
All MMS and MHS students who test negative at the first clinic can return to school in person. Starting Monday, September, 27. Students should plan to attend both clinics at their school. All students need to test at their own school, and receive a negative test at a clinic below to return to school early and stay at school.
Pfizer COVID vaccinations, will be also available at both clinics. Mammoth Middle School and Mammoth High School staff may test, either at this clinic, or at a regular public health clinic. ”
So if you get your kids Covid Tests at these clinics, and if they test negative, they can be back in school as early as Sept. 27th. Also, they have vaccines available at these clinics if your child should need one.
