THE FINAL COUNTDOWN

It’s been a firecracker of a year in the Bike Park with our expectations blown away a multitude of times. To think we were operating the ski area just 5 weeks ago and were still able to get trails like Off the Top, Beach Cruiser, and Chain Smoke open was no small feat. We’re continuing to rebuild wooden features throughout the park to this day, almost all of which were destroyed by the massive winter and some of our trails like Bearing Straits and Skid Marks are still under snow. But if you were able to ride the park this season you were treated to some of the best conditions we’ve ever seen.

Monsoon rain showers started in late July and are still with us (we received a nice shower late yesterday afternoon) creating a tacky riding surface we cannot get enough of. Jumps were re-sculpted, berms were re-packed, and we all managed to find the flow riding a bike on dirt can provide. If you are coming to ride this weekend, be aware that there will be on-mountain construction affecting trails like Brake Through, Boomerang and Paper Route. Please abide by all on-hill signage and closures for your safety.

Closing day for the Mammoth Bike Park will be this Sunday, September 17. Join us on that day at Yodler at 1PM or Top at 2PM for the Ride for Mark: a celebration for Mark Hendrickson who tragically passed away last month. Looking forward to another great season in 2024.
