BEAT THE HEAT
With forecasts calling for one of the more aggressive heat waves the western US has seen in years, now is a great time to get up to the high Sierra where highs are expected to be pleasantly situated in the mid-80s. Couple runs on snow in the AM, couple runs on dirt in the PM, maybe a quick 9 holes at Sierra Star before dusk? Sounds like a perfect Mammoth day to us!
Our trail crew was able to get the lower section of Big Ring open last week and will be putting the final touches on Uptown/Downtown from F Stop by this weekend. There are still a few piles of snow on the way out to the eastside of the mountain, but we’re hoping to get those trails (Paper Route, Timber Ridge, Juniper) open next week. Stay tuned.
