Plan Your Summer of Adventure at the Recreation Expo!
- Discover a new summer adventure for yourself, your family, or your friends at the 2023 Summer Recreation Expo from 5-7pm on Tuesday, March 28 at the MHS Gym.
- This one-stop-shop for everything recreation is your opportunity to plan your summer of adventure by interacting, learning, or registering for the many diverse summer programs offered by the Parks and Recreation Department and our many Eastern Sierra recreation providers.
- The Summer Recreation Expo is a FREE event and all attendees will be entered in a drawing to win some great raffle prizes throughout the night, including one free Mammoth Lakes Parks and Recreation Department summer camp! Additional raffle tickets are available for purchase. All proceeds benefit the Tony Colasardo Scholarship Fund ensuring every child has the opportunity to participate in our camps and programs regardless of income.

- The Town of Mammoth Lakes has launched a NEW recreation platform – DaySmart Recreation, to better manage activity and camp registration. It’s user-friendly and easy to navigate.
- Set up your NEW account NOW so you’re ready to go when summer camp registration opens on Monday, April 3 at 9am.

Winter Recreation Update
- Mammoth Outdoor Ice Rink: Due to the multi-day atmospheric river events and deteriorating ice conditions, operations have been suspended at the Mammoth Ice Rink.
- Town Nordic Trails: After a huge dig out effort from Lead Groomer Tim, the Nordoni and Tidd Tech grooming equipment is free AND Shady Rest Winter trails are groomed! All trail conditions and reports can be found here or on the new USFS Winter Trail Grooming page. Please clean up after your pooch, and if you bag it, please take it!
